Parqio is transforming shared garages into mobility and service hubs. We deploy our own custom, connected hardware to automate gate entry and allow our users to share access to shared space. By making authorized access available to 3. parties, Parqio aims to build an ecosystem of services and enable providers such as car sharing and food delivery.
We just passed 10,000 Parqio-users and continuously strive to provide them with a great everyday tool and user experience. Now we’re looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our team.
Location
Parqio is located at Startuplab in Oslo, Norway with a hybrid/remote team.
Position
Full-time, remote within CET±2hrs
About the role
As a React Native Developer at Parqio, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our end-user app. You will work together with our product manager and tech lead to develop new features and improve the existing ones. A particular focus will be on using positioning data to create smooth and seamless user experiences.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain our iOS and Android app (react native based).
- As a mobile developer you will work specifically with both our designer and the developers building the APIs.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that our app is performant and easy to use.
- Take ownership of features and see them through from concept to implementation, and release.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
The background we’re looking for
- Proven work experience as a React Native Developer (mobile)
- Experience with native development on the iOS platform is a big plus
- Ideally you have worked on location based and bluetooth reliant applications previously.
- Some product management experience
- Used to take part in backend discussions and how it interfaces with the app
About you
- You care about user experience with high attention to detail and empathy for the end-user’s needs
- You are familiar with mobile platform HIGs and are used to working with design systems and guidelines
- You work efficiently with designers combining prototypes and Figma
- You are passionate about Javascript/React, and curious about new technologies
- You have a problem-solving attitude, are communicative, and show a collaborative team spirit
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
